Who we are

Another Story is run by Noaman Hasan Ahmed, a sole trader trading as Another Story. You can reach us at noaman92@gmail.com. In these terms, "we" means Another Story and "you" means the parent or guardian who has the account.

What Another Story is

Another Story makes audio stories for young children: stories recorded by you and your loved ones, family memories turned into stories, and stories we make up with AI. Your child listens; they don't need a screen or an account.

The account belongs to a parent or guardian, who must be 18 or over. Children don't sign up or use the account themselves.

Plans

Free: 3 stories in total, however they're made. One set of free stories per family.
Family: 20 new stories a month, paid monthly or yearly. It renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time under "Manage plan"; you keep the Family plan until the end of the period you've paid for.
Gifts: 3 or 12 months of the Family plan, paid once by the person giving it. Gifts don't renew; when one ends, the family goes back to the Free plan and keeps everything they made.

Prices are shown before you pay, in your currency, including VAT or GST where it applies (US prices are plus any sales tax). Payments are handled by Stripe. Refunds are covered in our refund policy.

Your family's recordings

Your family owns its recordings and stories. We store and process them only to make your family's stories and play them to you.
Loved ones who record through a link you send them agree to this before their first recording.
You can delete one story, everything one loved one recorded, or everything, at any time. See the privacy page for how.

Stories made with AI

Some stories are written and read aloud by AI. We ask the AI for gentle stories for young children, but it can make mistakes, so please listen to a new story yourself before your child does. If anything isn't right, delete it and tell us.

Using Another Story fairly

Only record people, or send links to people, who are happy to take part.
Don't upload anything harmful, hateful, or unsuitable for children, or anything you don't have the right to share.
Don't try to get around the free-story limits, break the service, or access other families' stories.

If someone breaks these rules, we may suspend their account after telling them why, where we can.

A new service

Another Story is new and still changing. We'll keep it running as well as we can, but it may sometimes be unavailable and features may change. If we ever close it, we'll tell you in good time so you can download your stories, and refund any time you've paid for and not used.

Our responsibility to you

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that's a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking reasonable care. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer, or our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Another Story grows. If a change matters, we'll tell you before it applies; if you don't agree, you can cancel and we'll refund any unused time you've paid for.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If you live elsewhere in the EU or in the UK, you keep the protections of your own country's consumer law, and you can bring a claim in your own courts.
